Size Guide

Vintage clothing sizes can be confusing. From 1960s American labels to 1980s European brands, sizing has never been consistent—especially with vintage garments!

That's why we've created the Vintage Folk Size system.

We measure every single garment in our collection and convert it to our standardised sizing system, so you can shop with confidence across decades and countries.

There are 2 ways to find your Vintage Folk Size

How to Take your measurements

Grab a tape measure and take your measurements. Make sure to wear close-fitting clothes, don't pull the tape measure too tightly around you and keep the tape level.

Take your Chest Measurement

Wrap the measuring tape under your arms around the fullest part of your chest, usually this will mean having the tape measure under your armpits.

Take your measurement in inches.

Take Your Waist Measurement

Find your natural waistline - this is typically the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Wrap the measuring tape around your waist at this point.

Take your measurement in inches.
